Etech Telecom

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

This policy explains how Etech Telecom Inc. handles personal information. It covers website enquiries, callbacks, address searches, cookies, your privacy choices and how to contact us about your personal information.

1. Information we collect

The callback form collects your name, phone number and consent to receive a call. We process request identifiers, submission times, call status, and phone and IP address hashes to limit abuse. Other forms collect contact details, company information, service addresses, provider details and notes you submit. Careers enquiries may include a résumé.

Our providers may process IP addresses, browser and device details, page visits, referral sources, timestamps and cookie identifiers. This information may identify or be linked to you.

2. How we use information

  • Respond to enquiries and communicate about the services or opportunities you request.
  • Check business addresses, assess serviceability and compare relevant supplier options.
  • Coordinate proposals, implementation and support for your business.
  • Consider partnership and careers enquiries.
  • Understand business interest in our website, improve its usefulness and protect it from abuse.
  • Maintain relevant business records and meet applicable legal obligations.

Submitting an enquiry allows us to use the information to handle that enquiry. You can contact us to limit or withdraw consent for uses that depend on consent. This may affect our ability to complete a request. We will seek consent for marketing where required and honour requests to stop marketing communications.

3. Website services and cookies

The website uses the following services:

  • Canada Post AddressComplete: address searches are sent to the address lookup service to return matching suggestions. A confirmed address is used to help assess your request.
  • Bitrix24: our forms manage service enquiries, partnership enquiries and job applications, including uploaded résumés. Read Bitrix24’s privacy notice.
  • Google reCAPTCHA: the embedded form uses spam protection, which may process browser, device and interaction information. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
  • Leadfeeder / Dealfront Web Visitors: visitor analytics help identify businesses visiting our website and understand page activity. The service may process IP addresses, page view and session data and use first party cookies or similar storage. See Leadfeeder’s privacy information.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag: our dedicated fibre quote page uses LinkedIn advertising measurement, which may process page URLs, referrers, IP addresses, browser and device information, timestamps and cookie identifiers. We report a quote conversion only after our server confirms a successful submission. We do not include the form’s contact details or message in that conversion event. See LinkedIn’s Privacy Policy and advertising choices.

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Embedded services may use cookies for security, functionality or analytics. Browser settings can limit or delete cookies, although this may affect the form or other features. Blocking cookies alone may not prevent IP based business identification. Contact us if you have questions about these technologies or your privacy choices.

4. When information is shared

Providers process information for hosting, forms, customer records, communications, address lookup, security and analytics. RingCentral handles callbacks; Microsoft handles callback email alerts. We share relevant details with suppliers to assess or fulfil your request, subject to applicable consent requirements.

We may disclose information as required or permitted by law, including for security incidents or lawful requests. Supplier websites and services have their own privacy notices.

5. Storage, retention and safeguards

Our providers may process or store information outside your province or outside Canada. Information held in another jurisdiction may be subject to that jurisdiction’s laws and lawful access by authorities.

We retain information only as needed for your enquiry, our business relationship and applicable legal obligations. We then securely delete or anonymize it. Contact us about retention or deletion.

Our policy is to use safeguards appropriate to the information’s sensitivity and limit access to people who need it. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

6. Your choices and requests

You may request access, corrections, details about information use or disclosure, and withdrawal of consent, subject to applicable law. You may also request deletion; some information may need to be retained for legal or other permitted purposes.

Send requests using the contact details below. We may need to verify your identity before providing or changing information. If a request cannot be fulfilled in full, we will explain the reason and any available options. You may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the applicable provincial privacy authority.

7. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website, our services or applicable requirements. The latest version will appear on this page with an updated date. We will provide additional notice or seek consent for changes where required by applicable law.
